Using the Remember Me Log in Feature

Smart Web can be configured to display the Remember Me option, which enables Smart Web to remember the user that was last logged into the PC Client. This feature is useful if the Smart Web browser session expires, the log out time for Smart Web expires, or the state of Smart Web changes and user’s session is interrupted.

When this option is selected and the user logs back in to Smart Web, the user is automatically logged in if the log in information is available. If it isn’t available, the user is prompted for his or her log in name and password. By default, the user is returned to the default page configured for the system.

To use this feature, choose the Remember Me option on the log in page.
