The search results section of the screen displays the records that match the search criteria. Information about each record displays in the search result columns. The Paging\Directory screen includes additional phone number columns:
• Phone Number [Type]: The person’s main phone number and the phone number type display in the Phone Number [Type] field. Note that if a person has more than one phone number assigned to his or her listing record, a row for that person displays for each phone number. An example is shown below.
• Department [Phone Number]: The name of the department to which the person’s listing record is assigned displays in the Department [Phone Number] field. The phone number assigned to the department also displays.
Search Results and the DPE (Device Preference Engine)
If your system is using the DPE (Device Preference Engine) to manage your device preferences, the Type list box in the search results section is disabled for users that have a DPE profile. When a page is sent to this user, the device preferences specified in the user’s DPE profile determine the device to which a message is sent.
