A log of the pages sent and received by the user currently logged in can be reviewed in the Sent Items tab in the Personal Profile screen. By default, all of the pages sent are displayed. The list of pages can be limited by searching for the messages in a specific date range. You can also use the search for a specific message to further limit the search.
For a page that is sent, information about the progress of a page is available in the screen, such as that the page was queued and delivered.
This screen also shows any replies sent back to the system by the original page recipient. For example, if a person receives a message from an operator, that person is able to reply to the page by using 2-way paging. A person could also receive a page on a Spok Mobile device and then send a response back to the system.
The reply messages can be displayed by clicking on the plus sign icon next to a page. Reply messages are noted as REPLY type in the Status column, and display in red.
The list of messages can be displayed as an Excel spreadsheet or as a Word document. The file can then be saved. In addition, the list of pages can also be printed from the Sent Items tab.
Paging from the Sent Items Screen
A user can page a person from the Sent Items screen by clicking the pager icon next to a person’s name. The Sent Items screen displays all the pages sent to the user currently logged in as well as all the messages the user sent to other individuals in the system.
Two pager icons are available: an icon to send a new page and an icon to reply to a page.
Click the green pager icon to send a new page. | |
Click the orange pager icon to reply to a page. |
When the user clicks the pager icon, the standard message screen displays and the user can enter the message.
Conversation ID
Each original page that is sent is automatically assigned a unique conversation ID by the system. The conversation ID is displayed in the Conversation Id column in the screen.
If your system uses 2-way messaging, each reply sent to the original page or to an associated reply is assigned the same conversation ID.
NOTE: This feature is configurable. By default, the Conversation Id column does not display in the screen. Smart Web needs to be configured to display this column.
