Working with Smart Web

Configuring Smart Web

The Smart Web application can be configured to display changes to the colors, text styles, labels, and tabs. A complete list of what can be configured in Smart Web is available from your Spok representative. The Smart Web configuration should be done only by your Spok representative.

Configuring the Tabs and Adding an External Link Tab

The tabs that display in the Smart Web application can be configured to change the order of the tabs, change the tab text, hide a tab, and to add tabs that jump to a web site. A tab that jumps to a web site is called External Link by default. The name of that link can be changed. New tabs are added to the right of the current tabs. If more tabs are added than can be displayed, a scroll bar is automatically added to the bottom of the screen which can be used to access all of the tabs. This configuration should be done only by your Spok representative.
